Hospitality. Tradition. Quality.

Enjoy your meal at the South Tyrolean Restaurant Der Gassenwirt in Val Pusteria
As a Südtiroler Gasthaus (South Tyrolean Restaurant) we are part of a South Tyrolean network of more than 30 inns and restaurants that focuses on the preparation of regional specialities made of local products as well as on the maintainance and preservation of the traditional South Tyrolean restaurant culture. To do this we carefully select the best regional products, process them according to traditional recipes and proudly serve our delicious specialities to our guests.

Our cuisine is characterized by a close regional cooperation between restaurant & inn owners and farmers. Thus we serve our guests dishes of tender ox meat from the Val Casies, fine cheese selections from the Gatscher Hof-farm cheese dairy and homemade speck and cold cuts from our smokehouse served with Philipp's homemade bread: Berg36, Olmfrisch and Spelza (NEW now even for sale).
